These are not pantry stock: we bake our alfajores by hand at the Cookiebar. Classic chocolate, and delicate maicena rolled in coconut, both filled with dulce de leche. Fresh from the counter, or boxed in a collector tin to take home or gift.

When Guillermo opened Melly's in 2003, he paired Italian-roasted coffee with the flavours of home: alfajores, dulce de leche and yerba mate. Two generations on, our Cookiebar is still the place for Argentine staples in the centre of Amsterdam.

Where is the Argentine shop in Amsterdam?
Melly's Cookiebar is at Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 137, in the centre of Amsterdam near Dam Square. We stock Argentine pantry staples alongside our fresh-baked cookies and alfajores, open every day from 8:30 to 19:00.
Can I order Argentine products online in the Netherlands?

What Argentine products do you sell?
Yerba mate from four brands, Conaprole and Havanna dulce de leche, dulce de membrillo and batata, Chocolinas, 9 de Oro bizcochos, and our own handmade alfajores. We also serve specialty coffee in store.
Do you sell Chocolinas for chocotorta?
Yes. We stock Chocolinas, the traditional Argentine chocolate biscuits used to layer a chocotorta, along with the dulce de leche you need to make it.
