Kraus has grown yerba mate in Misiones, Argentina, since the early 20th century, in Colonia Santo Domingo Savio near San Ignacio, on land worked the same family way ever since. The leaf is certified organic, grown without pesticides, fungicides or herbicides. Instead of drying it over an open fire, Kraus warms it indirectly with the heat of a boiler, so there is no smoky taste: just a smooth, mild mate with a clean aroma. Traditional cut with stems, 500g pack.
