Amsterdam is full of sweets, but a properly baked cookie, soft in the middle and warm from the oven, is harder to find than you would think. As a family Cookiebar in the city centre, here is our honest take on where to find the best cookies in Amsterdam.
Look for fresh, not packaged
The difference is everything. A cookie baked that morning has a crisp edge and a soft, almost gooey centre. We bake throughout the day at Melly's, Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 137, so there is usually a warm batch waiting.
